Bluefish Landing Unit 4

This property was wonderful for my husband and I (and our Golden Retriever). We stayed eight days. The unit was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. One pleasant surprise was a small air fryer which isn’t usually a standard item in many locations. We ate dinner out often but charcoal grills were there if needed. This particular unit (#4) was situated overlooking the water over a nice sandy area with lounge chairs. Of note is that the way the building is situated, it blocks the sun directly in front of the unit so there is always a shady spot to sit right by the front door. A woman was fishing by the dock quite often and we watched as she caught a variety of fish. Also, the public access locations to the beach (Gulf front) are walking distance as well as some great seafood restaurants. The pool was a short walk away, very clean and we were the only ones there each time we went! Wonderful place at a decent price!

The unit and the complex were really cute and clearly had been updated recently. This particular unit faced the water and sat basically right on a little beach butting up to the bay. A lovely view! And the location was just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach; two public beach access sites with crosswalks are within quick walking distance. The pool was nice too. The unit is very small; you have to get creative with furniture in the living room to pull the bed out. But the beds were comfortable and the shower (although a little dirty when we got there) was nice. We had an a/c issue while there but maintenance responded quickly to address it. Communication from the host/property manager in general was very quick and helpful with our questions. A lot of the areas around the complex on the same u-shaped street though are a little run down, and it was hard to find an area to walk our dog that had any grass not above our knees or public areas that weren’t trash-lined asphalt. One needed addition in the unit are closet door knobs; they are really difficult to open without them.

Made a stop last-minute when plans changed. Great place right on the water.

We had an amazing time
